Jakarta, June 14, 2025 – The Master of Communication Science Program, Faculty of Communication, Universitas Tarumanagara (Fikom Untar), once again held its Academic Forum II themed “Contemporary Trend in Communication Business” on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Main Building, 11th Floor, Fikom Untar. The event featured an industry practitioner who shared insights on the latest developments in the communication and advertising business.
The academic forum presented Janoe Arijanto, Chairman of the Indonesian Advertising Companies Association (P3I), as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, he discussed various contemporary trends influencing the communication industry, including changes in consumer behavior, the growth of digital media, and the importance of creativity and innovation in facing increasingly dynamic industry competition.
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Yugih Setyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., a lecturer in the Master of Communication Science Program at Fikom Untar, who guided an interactive dialogue between the speaker and participants. The participants, consisting of students and lecturers, showed great enthusiasm throughout the session and raised various questions related to career opportunities, developments in the advertising industry, and communication challenges in the digital era.
This activity is part of the Master of Communication Science Program’s commitment at Fikom Untar to provide a learning platform that connects academic perspectives with industry practices. Through academic forums like this, students are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the communication field, particularly in the context of the ever-evolving business and creative industries.
