Jakarta, 21 January 2026 — The Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Tarumanagara (Fikom Untar), officially inaugurated its new leadership team for the 2026–2029 term on Wednesday, 21 January 2026. The inauguration marked an important milestone in strengthening Fikom Untar’s institutional development, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and the continuous enhancement of academic quality and institutional contributions.
The event was held as part of the Inauguration of Faculty Structural Officials within Universitas Tarumanagara, featuring a formal ceremonial procession, the signing of official documents, and a group photo session as a symbol of the new leadership’s readiness to carry out its responsibilities.
The newly inaugurated leadership team of Fikom Untar for the 2026–2029 term consists of Dean Dr. Sinta Paramita, S.I.P., M.A., Head of the Undergraduate Communication Studies Program Dr. Wulan Purnama Sari, S.I.Kom., M.Si., Head of the Master’s Program in Communication Studies Dr. Moehammad Gafar Yoedtadi, M.Si., and Secretary of the Study Program Septia Winduwati, S.Sos., M.Si.

Dr. Sinta expressed her hope that Fikom Untar will continue to grow as an outstanding faculty capable of responding to the challenges of the digital communication era.
“I hope the Faculty of Communication Sciences will continue to develop into an excellent, adaptive, and relevant faculty in line with the rapid growth of digital communication. Moving forward, Fikom is expected to strengthen the quality of education, research, and community service through a visionary curriculum and strategic collaborations with various parties. In this way, Fikom can produce graduates who are competent, possess integrity, and are ready to contribute to society,” she stated.
In line with this, Dr. Gafar reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening the Master’s Program in Communication Studies as a center of academic development for communication practitioners and professionals.
“The Master’s Program in Communication Studies at Fikom Untar will become an excellent program and an oasis of knowledge for communication professionals,” he remarked.
Fikom Untar also conveyed its appreciation and gratitude to the previous Dean of Fikom Untar, Dr. Riris Loisa, M.Si., for her dedication, leadership, and contributions in advancing academic excellence and institutional development throughout her term of service.
With the new leadership team in place for the 2026–2029 period, Fikom Untar is committed to continuing its positive achievements while implementing strategic initiatives that remain relevant to developments in industry, academia, and the needs of society. (LI)
