The Faculty of Communication Science at Universitas Tarumanagara held a two-day strategic work meeting, officially opened by the Dean of Fikom Untar, Dr. Sinta Paramita S.I.P., M.A., on Tuesday (12/5). The event was attended by the faculty leadership, lecturers, and administrative staff of Fikom Untar.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Sinta emphasized Fikom Untar’s commitment to supporting the university’s vision of becoming a world-class higher education institution. “Fikom Untar fully supports the university’s mission to become a world-class higher education institution,” she stated.
She explained that Fikom Untar plans to expand collaborations with various international institutions and prepare for international accreditation as part of its strategy to achieve global standards. According to her, this internationalization effort is essential to enhancing educational quality, academic reputation, and the global competitiveness of graduates.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Communication Studies Program at Fikom Untar, Dr. Wulan Purnama Sari, S.I.Kom., M.Si., presented several strategic achievements of the study program, including accomplishments in national-level academic publications. “Our study program ranks third nationally among private universities,” she said.
She added that this achievement serves as an important foundation for Fikom Untar to continue improving academic quality, learning innovation, and contributions to the development of communication studies in Indonesia.
The work meeting served as a strategic forum for Fikom Untar to formulate future programs, evaluate achievements, and strengthen institutional strategies in support of its transformation into an internationally recognized faculty. (AJ)
