As the job market grows increasingly competitive, the readiness of young professionals becomes more crucial than ever. This was the central theme of the Practitioners Week 2025 session held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Auditorium, 17th Floor, Hall A Building, Campus 2 of Universitas Tarumanagara. Titled “Stand Out, Get Hired: How to Create Winning CVs, LinkedIn & Portfolios,” the session featured Astari Tripuspita, HR Business Partner at Bosshire—a leading company known for its three key services: executive search, outsourcing, and job portal solutions.
During her presentation, Astari explained how Bosshire collaborates with major brands to bridge the gap between companies and skilled professionals. She highlighted common mistakes made by fresh graduates, including a lack of research about target companies and sending out irrelevant CVs.
She then elaborated on the fundamental differences between a CV, resume, and cover letter, along with the ideal structure each should follow. Astari also broke down the differences between ATS-friendly CVs and creative CVs, sharing various digital tools and software to help job seekers craft effective documents.
Beyond just paperwork, the session offered practical tips on compiling a strong and representative portfolio—especially for aspiring professionals in the creative industry. Astari concluded by offering insights on how to enhance one’s LinkedIn profile to strengthen personal branding and stand out in the digital talent pool.
As the final event in the Practitioners Week 2025 series, this session provided a critical link between students and the working world. It aimed to broaden students’ career perspectives and equip them with practical knowledge to enter the workforce with confidence.
