Communication is a fundamental life skill for humans and has been continuously studied throughout human civilization. Today, communication has developed into a scientific field with various applied forms. FIKOM Untar’s presence in urban society serves as a starting point for the development of communication studies within the faculty, where communication knowledge, attitudes, and skills are focused on three areas of concentration: Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising. Learning in these three areas of concentration is grounded in values ​​oriented toward humanism, professionalism, integrity, and entrepreneurship. These values ​​are intended to build the competencies of students so they are ready to work in the communications field.
