Jakarta, June 8, 2025 \u2014 A burst of colors, youthful energy, and positive spirit filled Sunset Avenue, Citra Garden City, Kalideres, West Jakarta, during Sunday morning\u2019s \u201cYoung Suka Lari\u201d Color Splash Run 5K. With the lively tagline \u201cKeringetan Sedikit, Vibes-nya Legit\u201d<\/em> (“A Little Sweat, a Lot of Good Vibes”), the event drew 400 enthusiastic participants from diverse backgrounds\u2014ranging from students and university attendees to young professionals and sports communities.<\/p>\n

Organized by students of the Faculty of Communication at Tarumanagara University (Fikom Untar) in collaboration with Citra Garden City, this colorful run was a highlight of Communication Week 2025. Blending the excitement of a color run with the nostalgia of youth, \u201cYoung Suka Lari\u201d emerged not just as a sporting event, but as a celebration of an active, social, and creative lifestyle.<\/p>\n

The event demonstrated Fikom Untar\u2019s commitment to experiential learning through collaborative and community-oriented initiatives. In her opening remarks, Head of the Communication Science Program, Dr. Sinta Paramita, S.I.P., M.A., expressed her appreciation for the students\u2019 hard work and teamwork:<\/p>\n

Tremendous effort has gone into organizing \u2018Young Suka Lari.\u2019 The collaboration with partners, sponsors, and media is something we take pride in. Through this event, we hope every participant enjoys the experience, has fun, and makes unforgettable memories.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hundreds of enthusiastic runners took part in a vibrant race filled with bursts of color and water splashes, held in a cheerful and community-driven atmosphere.<\/p><\/div>\n

Celebrating an active lifestyle through running together with closest friends.<\/p><\/div>\n

Spanning a 5-kilometer route, runners were treated to splashes of color, water zones, and interactive checkpoints\u2014turning a regular jog into an energetic, joy-filled adventure. Beyond physical wellness, the event also embraced social and economic missions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)\u2014specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. Local empowerment was fostered through the presence of MSME vendors offering food, beverages, and wellness products.<\/p>\n

The first participant to cross the finish line was Roly Wilefi, clocking in under 20 minutes, followed by Zulkipri Hutapea and Frengki Sihombing in second and third place respectively. Their achievements embodied the determination and enthusiasm that defined the entire event.<\/p>\n

Joyful movements came to life through a Zumba session led by professional instructors.<\/p><\/div>\n

After the run, the excitement continued with a lively Zumba session led by professional instructors. Joy and laughter spread across the Zumba area, reflecting the spirit of the day. The event reached new heights with a prize giveaway, a dynamic dance performance by Maniac Dream<\/em>, and a vibrant DJ set that had everyone moving to the beat.<\/p>\n

Participants shared their excitement in spontaneous testimonials.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was such a fun event, especially for someone like me who\u2019s never joined a run before. I really hope there will be more events like this in the future. Thank you, Young Suka Lari!\u201d said one participant.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Another added, \u201cIt was a blast! After the run, we joined a fun Zumba session with a really cool instructor. The MSME booths offered so many choices, and the refreshments from sponsors were great. This event was truly memorable for me.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
