Dean of Fikom Untar Riris Loisa received a visit from the Head of The Communication Department of Tzu Chi University (TCU) Taiwan Mr. Wei-San Sun at the Fikom campus, Thursday (8/8/2024).
The visit was to discuss the potential for cooperation between the two parties. In the discussion, they agreed to open up opportunities for future collaboration, including joint research, lecturer exchanges, journal writing, and organizing conferences.
“We welcome this visit as an initial step for us to work together. And we open the door for us to collaborate further in various fields,” said the Dean of Fikom.
Mr. Wei acknowledged that there are similarities in the vision and mission of Fikom Untar and his campus. This is a good start to be able to strengthen closer relations. He also offered Fkom Untar graduates to continue their studies at TCU.
The visit was also attended by a lecturer in communication science Mr. Fu Weixin and several student representatives, including those from Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Dean of Fikom was accompanied by the Head of Communication Science Study Program Sinta Paramita and the Manager of Fikom Resources Yugih Setyanto and the Head of the Untar Hugeng Cooperation Office.
