Friday, January 30, 2026 — Faculty of Communication Science of Tarumanagara University once again held the Odd Semester Yudisium for the 2025/2026 Academic Year at the Main Auditorium of Campus I. This event marked the official completion of students’ academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter as communication science graduates ready to contribute to society.
Throughout its educational process, Fikom Untar consistently instills the HEPI values — Humanism, Entrepreneurship, Professionalism, and Integrity — as the foundation of students’ character development. These values are nurtured not only in classrooms but also through organizational involvement, professional practice, and social interactions that cultivate students’ sensitivity and social responsibility.
The emphasis on character formation was reflected in the speech delivered by the graduates’ representative, Florence Febriani Susanto, S.I.Kom. She shared her reflections on her academic journey at Fikom Untar, which provided not only knowledge but also shaped her personality and readiness to face the future.
“I came to Fikom Untar with many voids. Today, I stand here well-equipped for the future because of the remarkable environment, lecturers, and friends,” she said.
Florence also emphasized that although the graduates will pursue different paths after graduation, they carry the same lessons learned from the campus.
“After today, my friends and I may take different paths. Some will continue their studies, some will start working, and others are still searching for direction. However, I believe we all carry the same lessons about process, perseverance, and hope,” she added.
Meanwhile, the Dean of Fikom Untar, Dr. Sinta Paramita, S.I.P., M.A., expressed her hopes for the graduates to become communication professionals who excel not only in competence but also in ethics and character.
“We hope you will become communication professionals who are not only competent but also ethical, principled, and beneficial to society,” she stated.
In addition, this Yudisium also recognized graduates for their achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. The Best Academic Graduates were awarded to Wangi Puspitaningrahayu, Eldiani Febyola, and Alicia Virlinda for their consistent and outstanding academic performance throughout their studies.
Meanwhile, the Best Non-Academic Graduates were presented to Florence Febriani Susanto, Eldiani Febyola, and Raissa Anargya in recognition of their active involvement, leadership, and contributions beyond the classroom. This appreciation reflects Fikom Untar’s commitment to fostering holistic student development, where academic excellence goes hand in hand with organizational experience, interpersonal skills, and social engagement.
Through the Odd Semester Yudisium of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, Fikom Untar reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who are not only ready to work but also prepared to make positive contributions to society. The graduates are expected to embark on their professional journeys while upholding the good name of their alma mater and the HEPI values instilled throughout their academic years. (KG/LI)
