Jakarta, 28 April, 2026 – Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. emphasized the importance of strong synergy between faculties and the university in achieving internationalization goals, academic innovation, and collaboration with business and industry sectors during the second day of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) Untar Working Meeting (Raker), Wednesday (May 13).
In his remarks, Prof. Amad stressed that successful institutional development requires solid cooperation from all elements within the university environment.
“Good cooperation is essential, teamwork must be solid,” Prof. Amad stated before faculty leaders, lecturers, and educational staff of Fikom Untar.
He explained that Untar continues to promote internationalization development through various strategic programs, including the expansion of distance learning and the establishment of international classes to enhance the university’s global competitiveness.
According to him, these initiatives are an important part of Untar’s vision as a world-class university that is adaptive to global changes and future educational needs.
In addition to academic strengthening, Prof. Amad also highlighted new innovation opportunities through the development of content creator certification, which could be managed by Untar’s certification body.
“Content creation is highly favored by Gen Z. In every study program, there are certainly many who are interested in becoming content creators,” he said.
He believes that such certification could provide strategic added value for students across various study programs in responding to the rapid growth of the digital creative industry.
The Fikom Untar Working Meeting serves as a strategic forum to formulate policy directions, program development, and strengthen the faculty’s position in supporting Untar’s transformation into a leading university at both national and international levels. (AJ)
