Jakarta, July 2, 2026 – The Faculty of Communication at Tarumanagara University (Fikom Untar) held the Handover Ceremony for Student Organizations (Ormawa) for the 2026/2027 period on Thursday, July 2, 2026. This event marked an important moment in the leadership regeneration process of student organizations within Fikom Untar.
The handover ceremony was conducted solemnly and attended by the faculty leadership, student organization advisors, the previous Ormawa board members, and the newly appointed committees who will continue the leadership for the upcoming term.
Through this event, the 2025/2026 Ormawa management officially handed over organizational responsibilities to the new 2026/2027 management. The ceremony was not only a symbol of leadership transition, but also a commitment to organizational continuity in carrying out work programs, strengthening student solidarity, and contributing positively to the academic community of Fikom Untar.
The Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Tarumanagara University, Dr. Sinta Paramita, S.I.P., M.A., expressed her appreciation in her remarks to all members of the previous Ormawa management for their dedication and contributions throughout their term. She also hoped that the new management would bring fresh enthusiasm in leading the student organizations.
“A leadership handover is not merely a change of positions, but also a symbol of the continuity of leadership spirit, responsibility, and student dedication to both the organization and the faculty. I hope that Fikom Untar’s student organizations will continue to serve as a platform for self-development that is creative, collaborative, and adaptive to developments in the communication field, while also creating positive impacts both within the campus environment and in society,” she stated.
The event featured a series of activities, including opening remarks, the symbolic handover of positions, the reading of commitments by the new management, and a group documentation session. A warm atmosphere and strong sense of togetherness also characterized the event.
With the successful implementation of the Fikom Untar Student Organization Handover Ceremony for the 2026/2027 period, it is hoped that all student organizations will continue to become platforms for developing students’ potential, creativity, and leadership, fostering active, innovative, and impactful contributions both on campus and in the wider community.
