Cisarua, September 27, 2026 – Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Tarumanagara (BEM Fikom Untar), successfully held a three-day Latihan Kepemimpinan from September 25-27, 2026, at Villa Palem, Bogor Regency, West Java. Carrying the theme “BLOOM: Learn Together, Lead Forever”, this event aimed to foster leadership skills, strengthen togetherness, and cultivate a sense of responsibility among students. The program was attended by new members of the Student Executive Board (BEM) and representatives from five Student Activity Units of Fikom Untar. Over the three days, participants gained a memorable learning experience through speaker sessions, group discussions, and interactive games designed to build the character of future leaders.
On the first day, the event opened with a secretariat session delivered by Clarissa Stefani. This session served as an essential foundation for new board members to understand the process of drafting activity proposals to preparing Accountability Reports (Laporan Pertanggungjawaban/LPJ).
Entering the second day, the training atmosphere grew warmer and more inspiring with a leadership session led by a lecturer at Fikom Untar, Dr. Farid Rusdi, S.S., M.Si. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of integrity, role modeling, strong empathy toward team members, and solid organizational character. He reminded participants that a true leader does not merely give orders, but focuses on solutions, places the right person in the right role, and serves as an example for their environment. (CC/AK)
