Jakarta, July 23, 2026 – The Faculty of Communication of Universitas Tarumanagara (Fikom Untar) held its Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree) and Master’s Degree Graduation Confirmation Ceremony on Thursday (23/7). The event marked the official confirmation of students who had successfully completed all academic requirements and signified the beginning of their next journey into the professional world.
The ceremony commenced with welcoming remarks from the Dean of Fikom Untar, Dr. Sinta Paramita, S.I.P., M.A., who expressed her pride in the graduates for successfully completing their academic journey. She acknowledged their dedication, perseverance, and commitment throughout their years of study.
“This achievement is the result of a long journey marked by dedication and determination. I hope all graduates will continue to develop their competencies, uphold integrity, and make meaningful contributions to society through the field of communication,” said her.
The event continued with the reading of the Official Graduation Decree. The decree for the Undergraduate Program was presented by the Head of the Undergraduate Communication Study Program, Dr. Wulan Purnama Sari, S.I.Kom., M.Si., while the decree for the Master’s Program was presented by the Head of the Master’s Program in Communication Science, Dr. Moehammad Gafar Yoedtadi, M.Si. The reading of the decree officially confirmed the graduation of students from both academic programs.
The solemn atmosphere was further enriched by a special musical performance delivered by a Fikom Untar student. The performance brought a warm and heartfelt ambiance to the ceremony, serving as a meaningful tribute to the graduates for their accomplishments.
During the event, a graduate representative shared reflections on their academic journey at Fikom Untar. They expressed gratitude for the valuable learning experiences and emphasized that studying at Fikom Untar had been both enjoyable and memorable. Beyond academic knowledge, they highlighted the strong sense of family fostered by the faculty, where lecturers consistently provided guidance, encouragement, and genuine support throughout their studies.
A representative of the Fikom Untar lecturers also delivered a message to the graduates, encouraging them to uphold the good reputation of their alma mater, continue expanding their knowledge and skills, and embrace lifelong learning in the ever-evolving field of communication. The lecturers expressed their hope that the values of integrity, professionalism, and collaboration cultivated during their studies would serve as a strong foundation for their future careers and further academic pursuits.
