Fikom Untar Education Staff Purwanti., SE and Yayat Supriatna are entering retirement. The two who have served at Untar for 34 years and 30 years respectively were released in a retirement ceremony at Fikom Untar, Thursday (8/22/2024).
Dean of Fikom Riris Loisa when giving a farewell speech expressed her gratitude and appreciation from the Fikom Untar academic community for the dedication that has been done both for Fikom and Untar.
She hopes that after serving at Fikom, both of them can still fill their daily activities with things that are beneficial for the community and their families and maintain friendship with the Fikom Untar extended family.
Purwanti, whose last position was Head of Academic Sub-Division of Fikom, conveyed her impressions while working at Fikom. “There are many memories that I experienced while at Fikom and they are really memorable for me,” she said with emotion when giving a farewell speech.
Yayat expressed the same impression while recounting his first experience when assigned to manage the Fikom Untar Library. “When Fikom was first established, the facilities were still limited. I had to be creative in overcoming the limitations of supporting facilities such as bookshelves and others,” recalled Yayat who served as Head of the Fikom Library until retirement.
On that occasion, the Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Sinta Paramita, representing the lecturers and education staff of Fikom Untar, presented a certificate of appreciation for both of them.
